Mimic Materia Added to FINAL FANTASY VII THE FIRST SOLDIER! Transform into Cloud and Unleash Abilities Cross-Slash and Braver!

(headquarters: Tokyo, Japan; president: Yosuke Matsuda) are proud to announce that “mimic materia” has been added in the latest update for the jointly developed battle royale action game FINAL FANTASY VII THE FIRST SOLDIER.

Mimic materia, which allows players to temporarily transform into an apparition with the appearance of a special character, was added in the latest game update.

A strange disturbance known as a “glitch field” has been discovered on the training field. The human-like apparition within it appears to be a familiar-looking SOLDIER brandishing a large sword.

Defeat the Glitch to Obtain Mimic Materia

Successfully take down the glitch and you’ll earn mimic materia that will allow you to temporarily take the form of the glitch.

■Cloud Mimic Materia

Using the Cloud mimic materia will grant enormous boosts to attributes such as speed and jump ability. Like Cloud, you will use the Buster Sword to attack rapidly and activate abilities like Cross-slash and Braver. After a certain amount of time, the effects of the mimic materia will wear off and you will return to your original form.
